Cordarius and Keyontae Smoot Lee
Rockford Councilmember Cordarius Lee said “I do” to the love of his life, his soulmate, Keyontae Smoot, on September 18. The ceremony was held at the Wetumpka Civic Center in Wetumpka.
Pastor Tremanye Benson had the honor to join them together in front of many guests, families and friends. Sadly Keyontae’s grandfather, Mr. Fred Smoot, and Cordarius’s mother, Ms. Margie Lee, were not in attendance. However, much joy and happiness reigned.
Keyontae was a beautiful bride holding on to her dad’s hand, Mr. Toderick Smoot, minutes before saying “I do” to Cordarius (D’ollis) Cordarius was a proud groom waiting patiently so he could say “I do” to Keyontae (Tae).
The reception was wonderful with people enjoying good food, dancing and some of D’ollis’ funny acts that reminded everyone of D’ollis’ deceased uncles, Tom Lee and Donald Lee. Tom and Donald kept everybody laughing. They were fun to be around.
D’ollis was the life of the party. I always tell him that he reminds me of his uncle Tom. I’ve never seen D’ollis so joyful and happy before, and all because of two words, “I do.” “I do” carries a lot of love. It is a real big deal!
D’ollis and Tae, Mr. and Mrs. Cordarious Lee, spent their honeymoon in Jamaica, West Indies, for one week and had a great time. Congratulations to a very special couple.
Our prayers go out to all breast cancer victims in this month of October and every month.
I pray that Chesley and Jasmine’s big day tomorrow is that God’s will is done with all of His blessings in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Let’s continue to pray for all churches and ill loved ones. Mrs. Mary McDonald, Mrs. Cora Edward and people’s furbabies. They need prayer, too.
Happy birthday to a wonderful son, Jamal (Buck) Kareem Johnson, and to all October babies.
