Roanoke man dies in Chambers County wreck

A three-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, has claimed the life of a Roanoke man.
Micah L. Farr, 27, was driving a 2013 Honda Accord when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2014 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jason Banks, 49, of Auburn.
Farr’s vehicle then was struck in the rear by a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by Kim N. Buchanan, 45, also of Roanoke. Farr suffered fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on scene.
All drivers were utilizing their seat belts. The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 431 north, near the 175 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Roanoke, in Chambers County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
