Kellyton man arrested for vehicle theft

Travis Pressley
A Kellyton man was arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle earlier this month.
On August 4, a report was filed with the Sheriff’s Office regarding a vehicle being stolen from a victim. Sheriff Michael Howell reported that the offender, 42-year-old Travis Pressley, was arrested for first-degree theft of property.
Howell said this was because of the investigation into the theft of the motor vehicle leading to reasonable evidence for the theft of property charge against Pressley.
He was arrested on August 8, and his bond was set at $5,000. He has since been released on bond and was extradited to Florida for additional charges he faces there.
