I have proposed so many great ideas lately that I can’t remember what all. This week I am going to take a break. And wait for the Rockford Renaissance to catch up.
Let’s review some of my heart-felt recommendations. First, watch out for garbage creeps. Bills were $64.66 this quarter. Has your service been good enough for a contract renewal?
Remember that your public officials were elected by you. You are their boss, and they need your input. The County Commission is starting night meetings. Let’s rock ‘em.
Also remember that the police are a community service. Upholding the law benefits everyone. Here we have relationships instead of riots.
Clean up your messes. Public eyesores devalue our town. And degrade our spirit.
Don’t complain about the weather. This is classic. And we can’t do anything about it except wait for the ice cream truck.
Spay and neuter your pets. Teach a kid a practical skill; it’s magic. Or take a kid fishing. They are repaving the road to Barrett’s.
I’ll be drying my feathers in a dead pine tree. And be your eye in the sky.
