Neighborhood Watches enjoy meeting again

The Equality Neighborhood Watch group was pleased to welcome Deputy William Bradberry and K9 Thunder to its meeting July 22. Bradberry introduced everyone to Thunder, the county’s first K9 deputy, and also gave them reports on what is going on in the county. There was a good turnout for last week’s meeting. The next Equality Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held September 23. Other Neighborhood Watch organizations in the county are also enjoying meeting in-person once again after the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to their in-person meetings last year. For information on the Neighborhood Watch program and when various communities have their Neighborhood Watch meetings, contact the Sheriff’s Office at 256-377-4922. Photo submitted
