Clanton man arrested for theft
By Christa Jennings
Brad Boone
A Clanton man was arrested earlier this month in relation to a theft case reported late last month.
A report was filed with the Sheriff’s Office on June 29 regarding a stolen golf cart. Sheriff Michael Howell said that investigators Fenn and Keel investigated the case.
That investigation determined that 57-year-old Brad Boone of Clanton was allegedly responsible for the theft of the golf cart from Mims Ferry Road off of County Road 55.
Boone was arrested on July 1 and charged with second-degree theft of property. His bond was set at $10,000, and he has since been released on bond to await trial.
