Equality native Chuck Bradley is now widely known for his auctioneering talent.
Recently he received recognition by competing in the 2021 World Livestock Auctioneer Championship, or W.A.C., and taking the grand prize of $6,000.
W.A.C. is hosted by the Livestock Marketing Association, and the competition is held at the Dickson Regional Livestock Center in Dickson, Tenn.
Bradley has been auctioneering since 2011, and it has been his full-time job since 2016.
“It all started with a high school bet,” Bradley noted. “There was a talent show coming up, and my best friend bet me $100 that I wouldn’t get up there and auction. I took him up on that bet and entered the talent show and took his $100.”
Bradley was born and raised in Coosa County and graduated from Central High School in 2011. After high school, he attended the North Georgia School of Auctioneering.
For some time Bradley resided in the city, but just recently purchased a farm and returned to Coosa County with his wife, Jill, from Alexander City.
Bradley can be found at many local auctions, whether it be a cattle auction, car or equipment sale. He is currently working at the Montgomery Stockyard each week.
“Every Monday at 1 p.m. anyone can come visit the Montgomery Stockyard and watch me in action,” Bradley said. “I would love for everyone to come and visit.”
Bradley loves what he does and is available to provide his services at any auction.
“Auctioning is my passion,” said Bradley. “I definitely love what I do every single day. It’s not like a job when you love going.”
Anyone interested in learning more about the services that Bradley offers can find him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/chuck.bradley.39 or by giving him a call at 256-786-763.
“My phone is always open for business and talks or questions,” Bradley mentioned. “Just give me a call.”
