Union Springs man dies in Bullock County wreck

A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:59 a.m. Sunday, July 11, has claimed the life of a Union Springs man.
Lytrell Donyell Clark, 42, was driving a 2017 Lexus GS 350 when the vehicle ran off the roadway, striking a guardrail then forcing the vehicle airborne before landing in a ditch.
Clark was not utilizing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected. Clark was fatally injured because of the ejection and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 29 near the 140 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Union Springs, in Bullock County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
