A Kellyton man and an Alexander City woman were recently arrested, with both being charged with criminal mischief, and the man having an additional charge.
According to Sheriff Michael Howell, on June 8 a deputy was dispatched to Alexander City Police Department in reference to a victim there. The victim was stating that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, 21-year-old Christian Tuck of Kellyton.
The investigation determined that the victim was at Tuck’s house at the time of the alleged assault. While there, the victim got into an argument with Tuck and another female who was also at the residence.
Howell explained that allegedly Tuck initially lured the victim to his house to get some items. After luring her to the house, the argument ensued.
According to reports, Tuck drew a gun and fired into the victim’s vehicle, damaging it.
Tuck was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. His total bond was set at $15,000, and he has since been released on bond to await trial.
Additionally, the other female at the scene was arrested and is a co-defendant in this case.
Jatasia Harrell, 21 years old of Alexander City, was arrested on the charge of first-degree criminal mischief for allegedly causing additional damage to the victim’s vehicle. Her bond was set at $5,000, and she has been released on bond to await trial.
