ARRESTS
On May 20, Chief Long arrested Bradley Edward Wells Jr. of Sylacauga for Failure to Appear on a warrant for Disorderly Conduct. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $690 cash bond.
On May 21, Chief Long arrested Cierra Channel Gordon of Hope Hull for Failure to Appear on a warrant for Driving while Revoked. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. A Deputy contacted the person and escorted them away from the premises.
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Deputy made contact with the individual and provided escort to his destination.
On May 18th, Freddie Johns, Jr., a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 41, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 18th, Bobby Saffold, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 70, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 19th, Deputies were dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
On May 20th, Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
On May 20th, Deputies were dispatched to Oakcrest Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.

On May 22nd, Sylacauga Ambulance and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Rustling Pines after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without treatment.
On May 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.
WEOGUFKA
On May 18th, Angela Sue Sexton, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 29, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for her Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 19th, Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Oak Tree Drive after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center without incident.
On May 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to CR 183 after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
HANOVER
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to the US HWY 280 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Tall Pine Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.
On May 18th, Kellyton Medics, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. The driver was transported to Russell Medical Center and scene was released to Troopers.
On May 18th, Johnthan Vines, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on US Hwy 280, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
On May 19th, Kellyton VFD and Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. The fire was brought under control.
GOODWATER
On May 18th, Henry Lee Kelly, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on AL Hwy 9, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 21st, Deputies were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of Fraud. Deputy explained civil process to complainant, no report necessary.
ROCKFORD
On May 17th, Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all parties and situation was resolved without a report.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to AL HWY 259 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
On May 18th, E.G. Isbell, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on Murphy-Sawyer Road, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 18th Rockford First Responders were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical treatment. Resident was treated at the scene and no transport was necessary.
On May 19th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. There were no injuries, and a report was completed for insurance purposes.
On May 20th, Deputies were dispatched to Hollow Branch Road after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
COTTAGE GROVE
On May 18th, Carey Leonard, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 101, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 18th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
KEYNO
On May 19th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 42 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies made contact with all parties and situation was resolved without incident.
MARBLE VALLEY
On May 20th, The Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to South Cove Road after receiving a report of trash on side of roadway. The trash was collected as reported.
RICHVILLE
On May 20th, Deputies were dispatched to Sleepy Hollow Road after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
RAY
On May 18th, Alonzo Blackmon, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 73, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 20th, The Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Illegal Dumping. The trash was collected, and case is under investigation.
On May 22nd, Deputies, Kellyton Medics, Rockford First Responders, and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to AL Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. Kellyton Medics transported the driver to Russell Medical Center.
MT OLIVE
On May 11th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
