Letter to Buzzy
Dearest Buzzy the Buzzard,
I am writing this letter to speak on behalf of many people in the Town of Rockford. We have been following closely along with your reviews and would like to now make a statement in response to your efforts:
While we appreciate your ability to observe from above all that is transpiring in Rockford, we have to disagree with you to an extent.
We would like to ask that before you write something you have properly checked your facts. For instance, your comments about King’s Bridge that seemed to allude to this being the town’s responsibility. However, that is actually privately owned land. We do, however, agree that it is the responsibility of all citizens to keep our shared and enjoyed spaces clean.
There is a buzz of change all around this town. We would like to ask that you step down off of your stoop just long enough to feel the energy. Some things should be observed with the mind, but at other times it becomes necessary that we drop into our hearts and feel what is actually going on.
Jealousy and negativity harm us! It has been proven that it causes division and separates us from those who live in our community. The people of Rockford are needing to pull away from these types of energies and cherish what they are actually becoming and doing.
If you would like to be an honest observer, try to do so from a place of heart. Take a look around with heart-eyes. There are a ton of good things that you could point out.
People need inspiration to come together, to create change. Pointing out the negative does not create change; it merely perpetuates more of the same.
You never know, it might even change you, if you were able to gently shift your perspective.
Yours truly,
Just as anonymous as you
