The Coosa County Extension Office will offer the ServSafe Food Safety Certification Course May 10 and 12 at the E-911 building located at 66 Communication Drive, Rockford.
The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of foodservice industry experts who face the same risks restaurant owners, managers and employees do every day.
The team at the Coosa County Extension Office wants to ensure food handlers have the knowledge to handle food sanitation risks. Reliable materials and expert food safety educators are available to help.
ServSafe is a food safety training for food service workers as required by the ADPH. The training is also for any food permit holders meeting the ADPH requirements.
Registration fee is $125 and includes book, exam fees and course materials. To register call the Coosa County Extension Office at 256-377-4713 (Monday through Friday – 8 a.m.-4p.m.). Registration deadline is May 7.
COVID-19 safety guidelines required by ADPH and Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be followed.
