ARRESTS
On April 12, Captain Hammond arrested Angela Leigh Rogers of Sylacauga on a warrant for Escape 3rd. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $5,000 bond.
On April 13, Captain Hammond arrested Christopher Lloyd Ray of Jemison on warrants for Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle and Theft of Property 3rd Degree. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
On April 14, Deputy Ward arrested Kendarius Devonta Stitten of Kellyton on a warrant for FTA-Domestic Violence 3rd Harassment. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On April 15, Deputy Ward arrested Walter James Sanders of Sylacauga for DUI. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On April 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 23000 block of US231 for a business alarm. Once on scene, the Deputy checked all doors and windows and deemed the alarm to be false. No report was needed.
On April 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of CR150 for a report of Property Damage. A report was completed and turned over to Investigators.
On April 15th, Stewartville VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance, ALEA and Deputies were dispatched to the 14000 block of US280 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. The scene was turned over to Troopers.
On April 18th, Stewartville VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance and Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of CR66 for a medical call. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center. No report was needed.
On April 18th, Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of CR53 for a residential alarm. Once on scene, the Deputy checked all doors and windows and deemed the alarm to be false. No report was needed.
WEOGUFKA
On April 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of CR41 for a domestic disturbance. Once on scene, the Deputies spoke with all parties and the one causing the disturbance left prior to their arrival. No report was needed.
On April 14th, Weogufka VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance and Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of CR56 for an unresponsive female. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
HANOVER
On April 12th, Brandon Alan Krueger, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on Payne Road, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On April 14th, Deputies were dispatched to CR59 for a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On April 15th, Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of US280 for a suspicious person. The person had left prior to Deputy’s arrival. No report was needed.
GOODWATER
On April 16th, Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of CR38 for a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
KELLYTON
On April 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of US280 for a business alarm. Once on scene, Deputies spoke with employees and they advised they are having trouble with alarm system. No report was needed.
On April 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 2000block of CR85 for a report of Harassment. A report was completed and turned over to investigations.
On April 14th, Kellyton VFD, ALEA and Deputies were dispatched to US280 @ McClellan Industries for a Vehicle Fire. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
On April 16th, Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Y Road for a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
RICHVILLE
On April 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of CR137 for a report of Harassment. A report was completed and turned over to Investigators.
ROCKFORD
On April 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of CR108 to complete a report from an earlier Private Property Damage report.
On April 15th, Rockford VFD, Goodwater EMS, ALEA and Deputies were dispatched to US231 @ CR118 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On April 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of CR30 for an alarm at a church. Deputies spoke with Pastor and advised it was a false alarm. No report was needed.
RAY
On April 12th, Ray VFD, Rockford VFD and Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of CR4r for an elderly male that was lost. The gentleman was found unharmed. No report was needed.
On April 17th, Deputies were dispatched to AL HWY9 @ AL HWY22 for a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and turned over to Investigators.
LAKE MARTIN
On April 15th, Equality VFD, Kellyton and Alex City Dive Teams, ALEA Marine Police Division, and Deputies were dispatched to Turkey Trot Lane for a possible drowning. Rescue efforts were suspended and picked back up on the 16th. A body was recovered that afternoon and the scene was turned over to the Troopers and Coroner.
LAKE MITCHELL
On April 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of AL HWY22 for a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On April 15th, Deputies were dispatched to Turkey Run Road for an alarm. All doors and windows were checked and the residence was secure. No report was needed.
On April 13th, Rockford VFD, Kellyton EMS, and Deputies were dispatched to Wagner Drive for an unresponsive male in the water. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to Coroner.
