Revenue commissioner announces tax lien auction for 2020 delinquent property tax

Debra Lamberth, Coosa County revenue commissioner, has set a Tax Lien Auction to be held Thursday, May 13, beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing during the normal hours of business on May 13, until all 2020 delinquent property tax parcels are sold.
The auction will be conducted online only at www.govease.com. The Delinquent Real Property parcels subject to being sold at the Tax Lien Auction will be posted on April 12 and can be located on the Coosa County web page at www.coosacountyal.com or the Revenue Commissioner’s public portal at https://coosa.capturecama.com.
A listing of all delinquent parcels will also be posted in the Coosa County Courthouse.
For interested bidders, please find bidder requirements and registration information at www.govease.com.
For delinquent property owners, the delinquent taxes can be paid in person with cash, bank certified check or credit/debit cards. No personal checks will be accepted.
Delinquent property owners can also pay through the public portal at https://coosa.capturecama.com or by calling 256-377-4916 for assistance.
