CHS English students win essay contest
Central High School Coosa County English teacher Traci Robinson sponsored an essay contest for her eleventh grade students based on the novel “The Old Man and the Sea” and her twelfth grade students based on the novel “Just Mercy.”
The panel of three judges selected Brynli Mitchell’s essay as the eleventh grade winner and Kera Dunham’s essay as the twelfth grade winner. Each winner received a certificate of achievement and a $50 cash prize.
